1. The service
ShortsCreator is operated by the administrator of the shortscreator.ai service. It analyses videos you upload or link, finds moments worth posting and helps you cut, frame, caption, export and schedule short vertical clips. The service edits existing footage and does not generate synthetic video. Features depend on your plan as described on the ShortsCreator pricing page.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use the service beyond the demo. You must give a valid email address, confirm it with the code we send, and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the members you invite to your workspaces. You must be at least 16 years old and, if you use the service for a business, have authority to accept these terms for it.
3. Demo
The demo lets you analyse one video per 24 hours without an account. After you create an account you can see the full list of moments for that video and download one watermarked 360p clip. The demo is a one-time trial of the product and is not a plan.
4. Subscriptions and renewal
Plans are sold as subscriptions billed monthly or yearly. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the price in effect, until you cancel it. You can cancel anytime in your account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Moving to a higher plan or from monthly to yearly billing charges the difference immediately, and the new plan starts once that payment succeeds. Moving to a lower plan takes effect without a refund of the difference.
5. Minute limits
Each plan includes a number of source video minutes per billing period. Minutes count the length of the source video or audio you process, whether by upload, link or channel autopilot. Unused minutes do not carry over to the next period. Deleting a clip, a video or a workspace does not restore minutes already used. Other plan limits, such as channels, seats and brand kits, apply as listed on the pricing page.
6. Your content and rights
You keep all rights to the videos, audio and other material you upload or link. You may only process content that you own or have the rights and permissions to use, including the right to edit it and publish clips of it, and the consent of people who appear in it where the law requires. You give us a limited permission to store, process and render your content only to provide the service to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.
When you connect a channel on a video platform, you must also follow that platform's terms. You are responsible for what you publish.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- process content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights of others
- create or publish unlawful, defamatory, harassing or hateful material
- process sexual content involving minors or any content that exploits minors
- mislead viewers about who appears in a clip or what they said
- send spam or manipulate platform metrics
- break, probe or overload the service, bypass limits or access other workspaces
- resell the service or share one seat between several people
We may remove content or suspend access that breaks these rules.
8. Payments
Prices are shown in USD on the pricing page and charged in advance for each billing period through our payment processor. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. Every payment comes with an invoice in your account. All payments are final, as described in our refund policy.
9. Suspension and termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, fail to pay, or if the law requires it. When an account is closed, the content of its workspaces is deleted as described in our privacy policy.
10. Warranties and liability
The service is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or that every clip will perform on any platform. Uptime commitments apply only where an Enterprise agreement includes an SLA.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, lost views or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or the rights consumers have under mandatory law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the service or the law changes. We inform account owners by email before significant changes take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change applies.
12. Contact
